Have you wondered how to make oven fries? They’re so easy and delicious, and they’re much healthier than the deep fried version. The following video walks you through the recipe. Scroll on to read how to make these in a conventional oven, a convection oven, or an air fryer!

Recipe for Oven Fries

  • 1 1/2 lb potatoes (we love Yukon Gold, but any potato works)
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp oregano
  • 1/4 tsp thyme
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • 1/4 tsp chipotle powder

Cut potatoes into wedges. Toss potato wedges in olive oil. Combine remaining ingredients in a gallon zipper bag and mix well. Add in potatoes, seal the bag, and shake gently until the potatoes are evenly coated. Place the wedges in a single layer on a baking sheet.

Conventional Oven Baking Instructions

To cook the oven fries in a conventional oven, bake at 425 degrees F for 35-40 minutes, or until golden brown and done in the middle.

Convection Oven Baking Instructions

To cook the oven fries in a convection oven, bake at 400 degrees F for 28-32 minutes, or until golden brown and done in the middle.

Air Fryer Baking Instructions

To cook the oven fries in an air fryer, arrange the seasoned potato wedges in a single layer in the basket. Cook at 400 degrees F for 15 minutes, or until golden brown and done in the middle.
